Job Description
Agilex Technologies has an opening for a Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) Engineer to support a contract with the Department of Justice (DoJ) in the DC metropolitan area. This individual will work with the customer to assess, install/configure, and test the agency's OBIEE infrastructure. The candidate will then leverage OBIEE for production of key reports that are essential to strategic decision making within the agency. Specific position responsibilities include: * Assessing the existing Oracle Discoverer reporting capabilities and developing the high level requirements for the new target OBIEE environment * Installing/Configuring the new OBIEE infrastructure * Migrating reporting capabilities to the new OBIEE platform through generation of dashboards, reports, and other OBIEE components Technical Requirements: * Significant Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Plus experience, including dashboard and report generation * Oracle Database/Warehousing experience and knowledge of warehouse design techniques
Job Qualifications
Additional Responsibilities: * Work with OCIO leadership to help define the target roadmap for OBIEE implementation and adoption across the agency * Lead the transition from existing Oracle Discoverer and Excel reporting capabilities over to the OBIEE platform and tools * Help create training materials for both administrators and end-users and lead training sessions (informal or formal) where appropriate Candidates should be US Citizens and will be required to undergo a security background investigation for this work.
