Our National Consulting Operations team is expanding and seeking to add a Delivery Assurance Coach. The Delivery Assurance team assists both internal and external clients with project delivery and compliance to ensure proper procedures and protocols are in place and identify any potential project risks. The Delivery Assurance Coach will have a broad consulting and delivery background, along with the ability and desire to coach and mentor others.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent and objective project oversight
  • Ask the right questions to recognize and guide early detection and response to project risks and issues to minimize project delivery problems
  • Conduct monthly project review meetings with Project Managers (PM's) and Engagement Leaders and update the DA Dashboard
  • Guide project teams and ensure the PM's and Architects understand project status (including financials) and solution health and readiness
  • Conduct on-site reviews as needed for complex and/or troubled programs and projects including meeting with the Client as required to gather their input and provide readouts on project status and solution health and readiness
  • Offer knowledge and expertise to help teams develop and improve skills and apply best practices
  • Enhance delivery performance to deliver improved results
  • Offer advice and guidance to Project Teams, RSM Management and Client Teams
  • Build trust and collaboration
  • Facilitate difficult conversation and management intervention
  • Deal confidently with complex business and technical problems
  • Anticipate problems and provide solutions for both the client and RSM teams
  • Review SOW's, weekly status reports and metrics, project plans, key milestones, financials (i.e. Walk through Actuals, ETC, EAC, Variance), and assess project status using standard metrics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or accounting
  • 7-10 of related work experience as a Program or Project Manager on complex IT engagements
  • Experience leading at least one complex project, ideally 9+ months in length
  • Broad IT expertise including working knowledge of financial and ERP systems, technology infrastructure trends, IT governance/management and IT internal controls
  • Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
  • Strong writing, research and analytical skills
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of leadership
  • Deal confidently with complex business and technical problems
  • High energy self-started
  • Results oriented, "hands on," action oriented
  • Highly respected people leader

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI certification a plus
  • Master's degree in information technology and or MBA a plus

Compensation Range: $107,900 - $184,800
