Join the HJF Team!

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.

This position will be in support of the Graduate School of Nursing / Adjustment Disorders Team with Uniformed Services University (USU). The position is 100% remote, on an as-needed basis. The expectation is 2 hours a week.

The Adjustment Disorders (AjD) team is investigating the validity, reliability, and sensitivity to change for a military-centric clinical tool developed to measure the presence of and severity of Adjustment disorder. AjD is the most prevalent mental health diagnosis in the U.S. military, and is highly comorbid with suicidality. It is also the most common reason for aeromedical evacuations from combat zones, and is linked to early separation from the military.
