General Summary
Under moderate supervision, of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs trade level mechanic work in the areas of preventative maintenance, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of the job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places, in outside weather conditions, and with explosives and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Potential for regular exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous material requires the observance of standard precautions, and safe handling practices. This position has been classified as medium exposure risk and requires the completion of an annual respirator mask fitting.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 100 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
