Job Description

Jefferson Consulting Group, a well-respected, minority- and woman-owned small business, seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as a Management Consultant- Procurement Policy and Analysis. Jefferson provides strategic and operational services to federal agencies in program management, acquisition, human capital and training. The Management Consultant will be supporting multiple projects across those domains. This will be a full-time, REMOTE position within the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Portfolio.

Management Consultant- Procurement Policy and Analysis is a role that works as part of a team to support the process and develop documents to assist in developing, tracking, updating, and implementing new and revised policy, directives, operating procedures, manuals, instructions, and guidance by:

  • Supporting the shepherding of new or revised guidance through the policy review process
  • Conducting internal stakeholder briefings and information gathering sessions to share information about draft guidance and absorb feedback
  • Conducting comprehensive research and process analysis in collaboration with Government stakeholders
  • Supporting data analytics, trends analysis, and reporting needs
  • Implementing policy, tools, training, and programs to ensure regulation compliance
  • Conducting contract compliance reviews
  • Responding with recommendations to inquiries from GAO and OIG.
  • Developing and delivering training
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and track project activities.
  • Create, maintain, and adhere to project plans and schedules.
  • Develop high quality templates, frameworks, and reports.
  • Facilitate and support meetings, including working with stakeholders to develop agendas, co-leading facilitation of the meeting, and documenting and following up on action items.

This type of role requires:

  • Years of federal acquisition experience: Mid 4-7 years, Senior 7+ years.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • CSAW, FAC-C, or DAWIA Level certification or equivalent desired
  • Federal acquisition policy development and compliance experience
  • Data analytics and visualization experience using Microsoft 365 tool suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.,
