Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team to support our government clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating compelling multi-platform user experiences for industrial digital twin applications, interactive 3D training, and real world simulations.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS' capabilities to serve our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Designer, you will:

  • Create compelling and easy to use user experiences for industrial digital twins
  • Design graphic user interface elements, including industrial equipment human machine interfaces
  • Create interaction designs that align with the best practices for the platform and that engage and captivate users.
  • Execute all visual design stages from initial concept to final design and asset delivery to engineering.
  • Create UI mockups, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and workflows.
  • Gather, evaluate, and develop personas, user stories, and other resources that capture and emphasize with users' needs
  • Gather requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
  • Ensure UX consistency and establish/adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Produce high quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Experience crafting high quality multi-platform assets for Web, iOS, Android, PC, and/ or VR.
  • Expert understanding of adaptive, responsive, and fluid UI layout concepts.
  • Understanding of UI development best practices, core principles and challenges of UI/UX from an artistic and technical perspective, and common UI/UX technical architecture and patterns.
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, interaction design, or computer science
  • 6 years of design experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a UI/UX artist/designer in a game engine (Unity preferred)
  • Experience in promoting accessibility through design and compliance with 508 accessibility standards
  • Knowledge and experience in UI Quality Assurance
