Position Summary

Sikich is seeking a Managing Consultant for the IT Solutions team to plan, monitor, implement, and manage a high volume of projects for the consulting teams.

What will you do in this role?

  • Focus on defining client needs and architecting network solutions, demonstrate capacity to deliver and communicate solutions, and provide QA before client release.
  • Act as resource for performing the discovery/diagnostic phase of technical projects.
  • Build client relationships and provide advanced technical support for complex issues.
  • Act as project lead for complex network infrastructure projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new systems and tools.
  • Become proficient in the overall functionality of all Microsoft products.
  • Manage time against assigned budgets, keep projects on schedule, recommend ways to overcome delays, and ensure that billable hours are logged accurately.
  • Mentor Consultants and Associate Consultants on projects.
  • Increase technical skills beyond basic/core needs.
  • Obtain and maintain latest Microsoft Certifications.
  • Achieve billable hour goals as dictated by team senior management.
  • Develop a good understanding of business and information technology processes.
  • Work with Modern Workplace, M365, and Azure daily.
  • Focus on sales and marketing revenue growth
  • Keep morale high and turnover low
  • Maintain an inclusive environment for employees
  • Mentoring of employees
  • Regain any customers and sales that have been lost when possible
  • Stay on top of the sales direction and make adjustments when necessary
  • Maintain satisfied and loyal customers and mitigate client issues

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Background and expertise in Network Engineering and Consulting
  • 10+ years of network consulting industry experience minimum, applicable college background, and appropriate industry training
  • Ownership of at least two customer relationships
  • 4 year college degree or commensurate industry experience
  • Major certifications in area of expertise such as MCITP, MCSE, CCNP, or CISSP
  • Actively involved in management of a geographic or functional team within the Sikich Technology Division
  • Workload balancing of team members
  • Reviews Senior Consultants and Consultants
  • Similar skill set of Senior Consultants - should be able to step into that role when needed
